Just a Can of Hairspray

I’m so excited to have my latest results back about my thyroid. My thyroid TSH levels have dropped 2.6 UIU/ML since 3 months ago due to iodine replacement therapy. My doctor expects my levels to drop even more and my Free T3 to go up even more.

I am so excited that I did not have to get on a thyroid pill nor take one every day for the rest of my life. I feel great. I have tons of energy throughout the day. I am grateful to my doctor for knowing to nip the problem in the bud instead of putting a band-aid on it.

Ruth Graham, wife of Billy Graham, dies at age 87.

“Ruth was my life partner, and we were called by God as a team,” Billy Graham said in a statement. “No one else could have borne the load that she carried. She was a vital and integral part of our ministry, and my work through the years would have been impossible without her encouragement and support.

“I am so grateful to the Lord that He gave me Ruth, and especially for these last few years we’ve had in the mountains together. We’ve rekindled the romance of our youth, and my love for her continued to grow deeper every day. I will miss her terribly, and look forward even more to the day I can join her in Heaven.”

What a great love story they must have led. It makes me admire and respect Billy Graham that much more.

Not much is going on in my world right now. I’ve been helping some friends stay afloat through their hardships, working and putting together my patio. I have 4 pots of flowers right now. I’ve never tried to keep to keep live flowers before. So we’ll see how long they last. They look great out there though all purple, pink, orange, red and yellow flowers potted in vibrant blues and greens. I might need to take a photo…

I had a 3 month check up with my general doctor in regards to my thyroid yesterday. She drew more blood to see where all my thyroid levels are currently. I am hoping for good news!  I am feeling great, better than I have in a long time!

I don’t think I mentioned that I FINALLY took a vacation after a year of working with just the normal Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Years work holidays. It was much needed.

Mom and I went to Walt Disney World. Why is that place so much fun no matter how old you are?

I am already ready to go back.
