So I know a lot of moms out there that overstep their boundaries in the name of their children. But this lady has gone too far. Cindy Sheehan just irritates the very last nerve that is in my body by using her son’s name to gain fame. Her 15 minutes of fame is over; please go home and shut your mouth. The great thing about the US is that we have the freedom of speech. We all understand Ms. Sheehan that you want to impeach Mr. W and withdrawl the troops from IRAQ, but do you really think it’s going to happen? Take your political motives elsewhere and quit using your son’s name and insurance money to buy land in Crawford and want to donate a peace memorial in honor of your son once you leave your land in Crawford. I don’t quite understand why you are using your son’s name in vain. Give him the respect that he deserves and let him rest in peace. And allow those in Crawford to do the same. Whether or not you see it from what the media likes to show, your son did not die for the sake of dying.

Ms. Sheehan, you have gone too far! Please go home.

My friend Chip recently invited Sherry (another friend of ours) and me to a Rough Riders game. Chip works for them and hooks us up with sweet deals. This time, it was all inclusive…dinner, drinks, parking, you name it! Here is a photo of Sherry and me on the field.

We had a great time and thanks so much to Chip for making us feel not only cool, but special. I owe you one, Chip!

So I’ve been communicating with an old friend from college. *Hi Christie!* She actually sent me her blog. Check it out when you get a chance. We went to school back in OKC at the University of Central Oklahoma. And hopefully we’ll be able to meet up for dinner when she’s in town pretty soon. She was one of the few, great friends I made while I finished school. And she and her hubby and dog Blu rock!

I recently decided to take up running. I know! So hard for me! Well, I get shin splints about 30 seconds into it. So I’m having to build up my shin muscles before I just go insane on them. So we’ll see how that works out. I’m first training for a 5k and then go from there into a 10k. Some friends of mine are talking about running a half-marathon at White Rock this December. We’ll see how the training goes. The least I could run would be a 10k. But I quite excited about it. But since I just started training, my poor legs muscles have been killing me! I did take yesterday off and that helped some. Let’s hope they keep feeling better.
