Yes! I am still here. I honestly can’t believe it’s been since November that I have blogged on here. What have I been up to? Well, let’s see:

After going through my place, looking to get rid of stuff that I don’t need, I’ve decided that I am in fact SPOILED! Yes, that is correct. I admit it. After years of my brother telling me that I am spoiled, I will accept full responsibility that I am in fact blessed and to the world spoiled.
So with that being said, I am taking over loads of stuff to Goodwill to someone who will in fact need it.
When the time comes that I do in fact need something, I hope I will still say that I am spoiled.
We never understand how little we need in this world until we know the loss of it.

Texans have Lady Bird Johnson to thank for all the bluebonnets that we get to see every year. Way back when, Lady Bird proposed to the transportation department that bluebonnet seeds be scattered along side Texas highways. And now, every year, we get to enjoy the beauty of the bluebonnet.
Ruth Graham, wife of Billy Graham, dies at age 87.
“Ruth was my life partner, and we were called by God as a team,” Billy Graham said in a statement. “No one else could have borne the load that she carried. She was a vital and integral part of our ministry, and my work through the years would have been impossible without her encouragement and support.
“I am so grateful to the Lord that He gave me Ruth, and especially for these last few years we’ve had in the mountains together. We’ve rekindled the romance of our youth, and my love for her continued to grow deeper every day. I will miss her terribly, and look forward even more to the day I can join her in Heaven.”
What a great love story they must have led. It makes me admire and respect Billy Graham that much more.
Not much is going on in my world right now. I’ve been helping some friends stay afloat through their hardships, working and putting together my patio. I have 4 pots of flowers right now. I’ve never tried to keep to keep live flowers before. So we’ll see how long they last. They look great out there though all purple, pink, orange, red and yellow flowers potted in vibrant blues and greens. I might need to take a photo…
I had a 3 month check up with my general doctor in regards to my thyroid yesterday. She drew more blood to see where all my thyroid levels are currently. I am hoping for good news! I am feeling great, better than I have in a long time!
I have no doubt why America is fat.
I saw it tonight at Wal-Mart. Sugared cereals, Fritos, Cheetos, frozen pizzas, blocks of cheese, cartons of soda-pops, Nuttybutty bars, ice cream, sweets in the shopping carts of the majority of families. Where are the fruit? Where are the vegetables? Where are the normal foods? I guess chips, pizza, cheese, soda, Little Debbie snacks and ice cream are normal food. It makes me sick when I look at their shopping carts filled with junk to feed their family.
I wonder what would happen if these familes started eating and drinking water, fruits, veggies, whole grains, lean meats and a little sugar.
You are what you eat. I guess that is what keeps encouraging me to continue my path to wellness and healthiness. I’m not perfect. But every day is a battle of eating more veggies and fruits and creating a happy balance with it all.

I am sooo excited about this! This is the new ‘08 Accord Coupe. How awesome is this?! I’ve been wanting to see what the concept will look like as I’m looking to buy a new vehicle. While I love my Civic, I am ready for something a little nicer and less of what I feel is my college car. I bought my Civic a few months after I graduated from college and have progressed somewhat in my career, that I am wanting something more grown-up. Oh yeah! I am so excited for this vehicle!
